Frequently Asked Questions

If your question is not answered here, please contact us.

Q: When would we turn over an account?

A: In general, you should turn over any outstanding account balances that have aged 6 months. The longer you wait before you take steps to make a collection, the less your chances of collecting your money in full.

Q: Who are your clients?

A: Our clients are Medical Providers - Physicians, Nursing Agencies, Home Health Care, Respiratory and DME Suppliers.

Q: How will we work together once the accounts are referred?

A: We will contact the payer by phone or in writing. However, all payments and correspondence will be mailed to your office. Any contacts should be forwarded to us as soon as possible. Please refer any questions you may have to us as well.

Q: Why would we refer an account to your agency?

A: We are experienced at collecting money on your account if it was denied or only partially paid as a result of the following: Medical Necessity, past the filing deadline, incorrect verification, Usual and Customary, Experimental Treatment, Pre-existing Condition, or if Policy maximum benefits were reached. Also, we will collect aged claims that your staff may not have time to follow up on. Many denials and unpaid claims are not really necessary, but can be time consuming for you or your staff to appeal or follow up on.

Q: How do you bill for your services?

A: A/R Solutions bills on a "Contingency Fee" based on the money collected, type of account, and age. No recovery, no fee.
